This Autumn on September 17th, Lambrate’s Open Art Night returned from the summer season getaway. Lambrate Design District hosted art spectators and enthusiasts to a fall evening in the courtyard at Via Privata Giovanni Ventura 6:30 pm until 9 pm. These art nights are for people intrigued by the unknown with each event involving different artists and gallery exhibitions, creating an entirely new display and experience every time.
Matteo Mauro Studio showcased his ‘RAW INSCRIPTIONS‘ displaying the original inspiration by Mauro in 2018 along with the newest 4 additions. Displaying the works in a progressive way allowed for viewers to see the build up and change over time in Mauro’s Micromegalic language. Following the resounding success of this gallery opening with all pieces selling out, Mauro devoted the following months to crafting the next addition of this pieces. Opening on September 17th is the continuation of ‘RAW INSCRIPTIONS‘ beginning with INSCRIPTION #007Â and finishing with INSCRIPTION #014. These artworks are new expressions evoked by Mauro in his creative process, further defining himself in a more deep and direct way. Depicting different story’s and reflections through each inscriptions, creating unique pieces that will engage differently with each viewer. Matteo Mauro uses the Raw Inscription series to serve as framework to his artistic vision and language that he’s created.
Showcasing alongside Matteo Mauro Studio is Monopoli Gallery with a Gina Pane exhibition curated by Flaminio Gualdoni, Galleria Boccanera with a wall painting by Andrea Ravo Mattoni, Francesca Minini had a live performance by Jacopo Benassi, and Prometeo Gallery by Ida Pisani hosted Vladimir Kartashov.
The opening art night of the season is one not to miss out on, offering a chance to not only gaze upon new artworks, but also an opportunity to interact with the artists themselves.
