Milan is in the spotlight once again as the international design capital welcomes guests back the Milan Design Week 2024. Among the many distinguished participants is Matteo Mauro, known for his digital regenerative work, he aims to captivate audiences this year through his sculptural works as well. Matteo Mauro Studio was invited to participate in Artemest’s L’Appartamento exhibit, displaying one of his large scale sculptures in stainless steel, ‘HE’. This sculpture shows how Matteo Mauro is inspired by traditional materials and techniques, while also depicting how he merges digital technology with a new contemporary vision.

Artemest will host its second edition of L’Appartamento, presenting in the 5Vie district at Residenza Vignale. This event is a celebration of Italian craftsmanship and design, hosting more than 1,500 of the country’s most talented artisans. This collaboration highlights the unparallel beauty and uniqueness of Italian artisans, while including Matteo Mauro as one of the shining few.

This exhibition brings together six of the worlds most forward thinking interior design firms, including Elicyon (@elicyon), GACHOT (@gachotstudios), Rottet Studio (Rottetstudio), Studio Meshary AlNassar (Studiomesharyalnassar), Tamara Feldman Design (@tamara.feldman.design), and VSHD Design (@vshddesign). This collaboration ensures a holistic presentation of Italian craftsmanship, setting the stage for Mauro’s sculptures to shine.

L’Appartament will open exclusively to the press on April 15th, with public access opening from April 16th to the 21st. This exhibition is a celebration of creativity and diversity that strives to define the contemporary art scene, showcasing the vibrancy and resilience of Italian craftsmanship and design.
