The fall art season has begun at Matteo Mauro Studio, with preparations for the upcoming Art Fairs taking top prioity following the summer holiday. Mauro has been developing new artworks from his Inscriptions on Canvas series, which will be presented at some of the world’s biggest art fairs, including Artissima, ArtVerona, ArtFiera, Arco Madrid, Miart and more.

The Inscriptions on Canvas series is not a return to tradition, but a new commitment to tactility, representing the story of the line and reinventing its directional flow. Each oil on canvas embodies traces of Mauro’s inspiration and origins, sensing the linear patterns behind each brushstroke. This series expands the boundaries of past techniques and methods, reimagined through a contemporary touch.

The art fair season opens with ArtVerona (October 9-11 2025), followed by Turin’s Artissima (31 October – 2 November). Mauro’s canvases will be presented within the fair’s research-driven curatorial framework, especially relevant this year, as the 2025 edition draws inspiration from Buckminster Fuller’s “Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth,” exploring ecological and philosophical themes.

Matteo Mauro will be represented by Prometeo Gallery, with his artworks spotlighted in the careful context, highlighting his distinctive language and artistic research. Exposing new artworks from his Bronze on Canvas series which manipulates material into a new fusion of ideas and technique.

As the 2025 art fair calendar unfolds, Matteo Mauro Studio invites collectors, curators, and critics to experience these stunning works in person and appreciate the distinctive style and methodology that defines Mauro’s artistic practice.
