On the occasion of Open Art Night: Bulletin n. 42, Matteo Mauro will strike*, keeping its doors closed for a special evening dedicated to reflection and creative disruption. This gesture opens a dialogue about artistic discovery by stepping back rather than stepping forward. Across the vibrant art district of Via Ventura in Lambrate, visitors are invited to explore a constellation of contemporary galleries and studios united by a shared commitment to experimentation and openness.

Although the studio will remain closed, Matteo Mauro presents “Strike Strike Strike”, a visual statement embodying the artist’s choice to withdraw and observe. Installed on the studio’s interior façade, the work captures Mauro’s ongoing exploration of form through illuminated silhouettes of his three-dimensional sculptures. Through light, it reveals the point at which sculptural precision meets generative movement, where gesture becomes an act of resilience and transformation.

Situated in the heart of Lambrate’s art district, the studio becomes both an exhibition site and a place of encounter, offering a direct glimpse into Mauro’s creative environment. The event provides a rare opportunity to engage with the artist’s process, discover recent works, and participate in a larger conversation at the intersection of art, technology, and craftsmanship.
