Matteo Mauro will make his debut at Roma Arte in Nuvola, presenting for the first time at Italy’s capital fair for modern and contemporary art in collaboration with Galleria Ferrero. The fair opens with a VIP Preview on the 20th of November 2025, followed by public viewing days from the 21st to 23rd of November, where visitors will find Mauro’s artworks on Floor -1, Booth C47.

Galleria Ferrero will showcase two significant directions within Mauro’s ongoing research. Visitors will encounter his sculptural series “Loves Who Don’t Know How to Get By in This World,” artworks defined by their polished forms and emotional tension, where fragility and intimacy take shape through compact, expressive bodies. These sculptures embody a poetic reflection on human relationships, capturing the complex balance between vulnerability and resilience.

Alongside the sculptures, Mauro will present a new edition artwork from his relief series, Bronze on Canvas. This series extends his long standing exploration of Inscriptions and tactile gesture, transforming rhythmic, raw mark making into dense metallic surfaces that blur the boundaries between painting, engraving, and sculpture. The artworks continue the artist’s commitment to experimenting with materiality, technique, and spatial depth.

Mauro’s first appearance at Arte in Nuvola marks an important moment in his exhibition journey, offering collectors and visitors a chance to experience two of his most emblematic artistic paths through a curated selection by Galleria Ferrero. Those attending the fair are invited to visit Booth C47 to discover the latest developments in his sculptural and relief work.
