Chewing and swallowing flowers is an uncommon practice. The lack of knowledge of edible varieties leads to consider the flower an object as beautiful as it is toxic. The artist decides to feed himself only on flowers, in a 3h performance: I only eat flowers. The non habit and ambiguity of the gesture tends to create a response in the viewer that varies according to its psychological substrate. In previous experiments a prevalence of the following reactions has been noted:
[Italian] La masticazione e l’ingerimento dei fiori e’ una pratica non comune. La non conoscenza delle varieta’ edibili porta a considerare il fiore un oggetto tanto bello quanto tossico.
L’artista decide di nutrirsi solo di fiori, in una performance di 3h: I only eat flowers. La non abitudine ed ambiguita’ del gesto tende a creare una risposta nello spettatore che varia in base al suo substrato psicologico. In precedenti esperimenti si e’ notata una prevalenza delle seguenti reazioni:
